On February 13, 2018, Edgar’s Proof & Provision will launch Savannah’s only club for whiskey enthusiasts, Proofreader’s Whiskey Club.

“Our whiskey club will showcase our more than 130 bourbons while offering members benefits that show off the food and hospitality that encompasses Edgar’s Proof & Provision,” said Steven Ouellette, Manager of Edgar’s Proof & Provision. “Our library lends itself to be the ideal setting to explore the wide world of whiskey, so we thought that should be the theme of this club! We’re all about the whiskey with a fun library theme.”

Membership includes the first whiskey drink free, free monthly private whiskey tastings from various brands, 15% off the member’s bill for the year, and a personalized book card including a list of 75 whiskeys in each chapter in the DeSoto library. Library series meetings will be the last Thursday of every month and include one free guest pass per member for the year. They will pick a book from the Edgar’s P&P library to hold their personalized book card which will be used to keep track of their progress on the whiskey list.

After completing the first chapter of the Proofreader’s book, members will receive one select premium bottle of their choice and two personalized Glen Carin whiskey glasses. Their bottle will be kept in the cage display of the restaurant and will be available for free bottle service upon their request.
