Felicia Luke, an Ogeechee Technical College graduate, was recently named the 2018 Outstanding Alumni Award winner at an alumni reception held at the College.  Ogeechee Tech annually accepts nominations in two categories, Outstanding Alumni, which honors an individual who has graduated in the past 10 years, and Distinguished Alumni, for those who graduated more than 10 years ago.  A number of nominees were honored at the reception, with a winner in each category being named.  Luke was chosen as the 2018 winner in the Outstanding Alumni category.

Luke is a 2015 graduate of the Business Administrative Technology program. She began as an intern for Wise Choice Therapeutics Solutions, Inc. while completing the BAT program, was hired as a full-time employee upon graduating, and has continued her employment as the Office Manager. Luke also received her certificate in Medical Office Support Specialist and was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She serves the community through volunteering with Hearts and Hands Clinic and various children’s programs with First United Methodist Church of Statesboro. Felicia was raised with the philosophy that it takes a village to raise a child, and her passion and desire is to be a part of that village.

The Outstanding Alumni Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions and who has excelled in his or her chosen fields, has given back to his or her community, and who is dedicated to the advancement of the College.
