Staff Report

Tuesday, July 17th, 2018

Laurie Brown, founder and owner of Aunt Laurie’s, announced the next Lowcountry Ladies Luncheon will once again be held at EmployAbility in Savannah on August 17. The event is intended to help support local women owned businesses and to help women network in effort to grow personally and professionally.

Laurie Brown, Owner Aunt Laurie’s states, “I am happy to host this luncheon in Savannah again, as Aunt Laurie’s friends at EmployAbility will once again cater the event. Our last luncheon’s food was awesome, and we had over 40 women attend! Aunt Laurie’s was able to make a $300 donation to EmployAbility from ticket sales and an extra match from Aunt Laurie’s. EmployAbility is an organization that prepares adults with developmental disabilities for employment and community integration.”

Attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch at noon with ample time for networking and meeting new friends. Local women business owners will have vendor displays and guests will have time for shopping before and after lunch. Bringing business cards for networking and prize drawings is highly recommended.

Registration is now open, and seating is limited. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased online at Register lowcountry-ladies-luncheon. Interested vendors are to contact Laurie Brown at [email protected] for pre-approval. Vendor display tickets are $45 and include lunch. $5.00 of each ticket will be donated to EmployAbility.
