Cora Bett Thomas Realty CEO and Founder Cora Bett Thomas announced the unveiling of her regional philanthropy program, “Team Cora Bett Thomas Cares.”

Effective immediately, every Cora Bett Thomas agent will make a donation to the “Team Cora Bett Thomas Cares” fund at each closing. Cora Bett Thomas Realty will match each agent’s donation.

According to Thomas, the fund was created due to her agents and staff, who wanted a way to help organizations in the SC/GA 100 mile coast stretching from Beaufort, SC to St. Marys, GA. “We are lucky to live in this part of the world and we want to support community efforts that help keep our region thriving. Perhaps this will be one small way to pay it forward to the area we love so dearly,” said Thomas.

Cora Bett Thomas agents will recommend particular projects for funding consideration. In addition, any 501C3 organization located in counties included in the 100 mile coast (SC: Beaufort/Jasper and GA: Effingham, Bryan, Chatham, Glynn, Liberty, McIntosh, Camden) may apply for funding if once they have the recommendation from a Cora Bett Thomas staff or agent.

Any organization interested in applying for Team Cora Bett Thomas Cares Campaign Funds must provide a one page summary about their need, a list of their board members, an annual budget, their official 501C3 status details, as well as a letter of recommendation from a CBTR team member.
