Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, October 25th, 2018

Stage Front hosted a 40th anniversary celebration on Thursday, October 18th to show appreciation to their clients, employees, and the greater Savannah community. The event was held at the Kehoe Iron Works Patio at Trustees Garden, a project that Stage Front most recently completed. Morris Multimedia and Lominack Kolman Smith Architects engaged Stage Front in the project to design and build comprehensive AV solutions that would help transform the metal superstructure into the event and conference destination in Savannah; knowing a state-of-the-art audiovisual system was integral for the best event experience.

The anniversary event focused on an appreciation for Stage Front’s team and their commitment to providing A/V services for a multitude of companies and non-profit organizations over the last 40 years. Stage Front began operation in 1978, initially selling theatrical lighting to the entertainment industry. As the company developed its skill set and expanded its service offerings, they took the consultative approach of serving architects, electrical engineers, and general contractors as a dependable design-build resource for audiovisual systems solutions.  With systems operating in 37 states, their offerings also now extend to complete event management.

Partners Chase Nelson and Robert Hammond both spoke at the event extending a warm welcome to the diverse audience of colleagues and guests while noting the company’s immense appreciation for their founding members. During his remarks, Nelson stated, “We welcome and sincerely appreciate all who are gathered here to help celebrate this milestone in the story of Stage Front, our 40th anniversary. And to our clients and partners, for which none of this would be possible without you, tonight, we are truly a reflection of you.”

Hammond also referenced the positive influence of owner Steve Stephens, and partners Scott Stephens and Mike Reynolds, who have all been an integral part of Stage Front since the beginning. He noted their perseverance and hard work have been a driving force behind Stage Front becoming a national leader in AVL Presentation and Event Design.
