Israeli Delegation to Visit Chatham County Sheriff’s Office November 2nd

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Chatham County Police Department, Savannah Police Department and U.S. Marshal’s Office, will be hosting high ranking members of the Israeli Delegation on Friday, Nov. 2 to discuss topics related to community policing.
 
Members of the delegation will arrive at the Sheriff’s Office just before 11 a.m. The day’s schedule is as follows:
 
11-11:30 a.m. – Greetings from Chatham County Sheriff John Wilcher, Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter and U.S. Marshal David Lyons.
 
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Chatham County Chief of Police Jeffrey Hadley to present on community oriented policing and the merger/demerger.
 
12:30-1:30 p.m. – Lunch
 
1:30-2:30 p.m. – Savannah Police Captain Lenny Gunther to present on ending gun violence.
 
2:30-3 p.m. – Chatham County Police Corporal David Gushulak to present on use of force.
 
3-4 p.m. – Chatham County Police Lieutenant Mark Gallipeau and Sheriff Office Training Director Gary Taylor to present on tasers and BWC.
 
4 p.m. Adjourn
