CoastalStates Bank is pleased to announce that Sarah Martin has joined the CoastalStates team as Vice President of Commercial Lending for the Savannah market.

With over 13 years of experience in the banking industry, Martin most recently worked with SunTrust Bank as a Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager.

“Sarah is respected member of our community and recognized as a leader within the banking industry and for her continuous volunteer efforts,” said Senior Vice President Brian Smith. “Her experience and knowledge will play a key role in our continued expansion within the Coastal Empire.”

Martin has served in multiple volunteer capacities for organizations such as the Savannah Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Council, Savannah Jaycees, Savannah AMBUCS, the American Diabetes Association, Junior Achievement, and the Emerging Leadership Council. She was the 2014 Jaycee of the Year, a 2015 Savannah Big Wig for Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia, and a 2018 candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man and Woman of the Year. Martin also received the President’s Bronze Volunteer Service Award in 2018 as a recognition for the number of community service hours she has completed during her professional career.
