SSU Entrepreneurship Day Showcases Alumnus, Current Students

In its seventh year, the Advancement of Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center at Savannah State University provides opportunities for entrepreneurial growth and fosters the spirit of entrepreneurship. The ACE Center at SSU will host Entrepreneurship Day, Tuesday, November 6.

The day’s activities include a keynote presentation by SSU alumnus Tem Morgan ’95, Howard Jordan building, Torian Auditorium, 9:30 a.m. Morgan graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After serving in the U.S. Army and then earning his doctorate of chiropractic medicine, Morgan opened and became the managing partner and president of Solomon Morgan Staffing Solutions, now Trace Staffing Solutions.

Twenty SSU student entrepreneurs will showcase their businesses 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Student Union atrium. Highlights include service demonstrations and product exhibits. The events are free and open to the public.
