Oliver Maner Welcomes Gracie G. Shepherd as Associate

Oliver Maner LLP, an award-winning law firm since 1897, is pleased to announce Gracie G. Shepherd is joining the firm as an associate in its civil litigation section. She will focus on commercial litigation, legal malpractice defense, estate and fiduciary litigation, product liability, and creditor representation.
 
Prior to joining Oliver Maner, Shepherd worked at the firm as a summer associate. Before attending law school, Shepherd worked in her family’s cotton brokerage firm, JSS Cotton Co., LLC, serving cotton producers and merchants in the Southeast and assisting them with spot pricing, forward contracting, commodity futures transactions, and hedging strategies.
 
Shepherd, a native of Waynesboro, Ga., earned her undergraduate degree from Thomas Edison State College in Indianapolis, Ind., and her Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia. She was a member of the UGA Law mock trial team, a finalist in the J. Melvin England Mock Trial Competition, president of the Dean’s Ambassadors, vice president of the Women Law Students Association, and managing board member for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.
