Parker’s Hires Corey B. McClimans as Chief Human Resources Officer

Parker’s recently hired human resources veteran Corey B. McClimans as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer. In his new position, McClimans is responsible for advancing the human resources department at Parker’s, as the award-winning foodservice and convenience store company continues to expand its footprint throughout the region.

McClimans has more than 17 years of experience in providing HR leadership and support to employees as well as company management. Prior to joining Parker’s, McClimans was the Senior Manager of Human Resources at the Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Inc., where he planned, managed and executed HR objectives for manufacturing facilities in Savannah, Ga. and Orlando, Fla., and for a repair facility in Texas.
 
Earlier in his career, he served as the Human Resources and Safety Manager for Roger Wood Foods, Inc. in Savannah, Ga.; the Human Resources Workforce Planning Manager for The Shaw Group Inc.’s Power Division in Charlotte, N.C.; and the Senior Human Resources Advisor for Gemini Air Cargo in Dulles, Va.
 
McClimans is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) as well as the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s Human Resources Council.
 
An active community volunteer, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Coastal Center for Developmental Services and is a member of the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee He is also the past president of the Quantum Services Board of Directors, a former rugby player and a former member of the Savannah Leukemia Cup Regatta Golf Committee.
 
Originally from Ashtabula, Ohio, McClimans earned B.S. in Psychology from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. He currently resides in Savannah with his wife and two children.
