Bouhan Falligant Names Melanie Marks Managing Partner

Bouhan Falligant recently announced it has named Melanie L. Marks as Managing Partner of the firm.  She is the first female attorney to lead the full-service Georgia law firm that has been in Savannah for over 135 years.

Marks practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law and real estate law.  She is authorized to practice in the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court, in addition to all State of Georgia Courts.

Earning both her law degree and her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, Marks has spent her entire legal career with the firm.  She is member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association, member and former president of the Savannah Estate Planning Council, former chairman of the Board for Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, former board member of the Savannah Community Foundation, Inc., a graduate of Leadership Savannah, and a member of Savannah Rotary.
