Senior Citizens, Inc. Concludes Annual Blanket Drive With Record Donations

Senior Citizens, Inc. (SCI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people age successfully, just concluded its annual blanket drive which kicked off January 15th. A record 826 blankets were donated with an additional $4000 given to purchase additional blankets.
SCI teamed up with area Starbucks and WTOC along with several designated dropoff places throughout The Landings for this year’s successful drive.
Senior citizens still in need of blankets can visit SCI’s headquarters at 3025 Bull Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 pm. Please bring a photo ID and proof of income (low-income applicants only, please).
