Infinity, Inc. is offering a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior.

To briefly recap, this contest is open to high school seniors graduating from Chatham, Bryan, or Effingham County.

- Public or private school.

- The winner should have a skill and/or desire for Computer Science/Technology.

- Deadline for applying is May 31, 2019.

What makes the ‘scholarship’ a little different is that the winner is not required to be going on to higher education. They are strong proponents of education during every stage of a person’s life, but they will be awarding this gift directly to the winner (or to his or her parents if under 18). It can be used to cover costs while the young man or woman takes an unpaid internship, or runs an experiment, or travels. Naturally it can be put toward a degree program or other courses. They simply recognize that not everyone learns the same way and that progress and innovation can come from untraditional methods.
