The American Traditions Vocal Competition (ATC) and Savannah Art Walk have once again teamed up to host “Americans in Paris” which will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 with a welcome reception at The Hyatt Hotel, 2 W Bay St.

This special event will celebrate all that Savannah and Paris have to offer – beauty, art, jazz and lots of bubbly. After the welcome reception, participants will have the opportunity to stroll the city on a self-guided tour utilizing the Savannah Art Walk App and/or map of galleries, to take in the different galleries, scenery and art until 6 p.m. At the conclusion of the Art Walk, the ATC invites guests to an after party at the DeSoto Hotel, in the heart of Savannah’s historic district, located at 15 E Liberty St. This event will include a raffle of artwork donated by Savannah Art Walk galleries, and live music provided by ATC vocalists.

Vocalist and storyteller Gabrielle Stravelli, a 2019 ATC Semifinalist and winner of the 2019 Ben Tucker Jazz Award, and local guitarist, educator and arranger Jackson Evans will weave classic American and French songs with a Parisian flare as they perform during the after party.
