Renasant Bank recently celebrated the opening of its new Port Wentworth location in The Shops at Rice Hope, 2 Magnolia Blvd, located on Highway 21.

To mark the occasion, Renasant hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on Tuesday, June 18. Community residents, chamber of commerce members, local leaders, and fellow business owners and managers attended the event, which featured tours of the new space, refreshments and raffle prize drawings.

Renasant's previous location at 7224 Highway 21 now serves as Port Wentworth's City Hall. To serve customers’ needs, the bank's new 2,400-square-foot location has two full-time tellers, personal bankers and a branch manager on the premises.

Renasant Bank Market President Barbara D. Liscio said, “This is a ‘win-win’ for both Renasant Bank and the City of Port Wentworth. Renasant has been looking at options to modernize our facility while continuing operations in the community we have served for over 10 years. This relocation has provided Renasant with a more efficient facility to line up the modern bank branch model, and the city has expanded to a beautiful building with room for future growth.”
