Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) has partnered with Daniel Reed Hospitality (DRH) for the 2019-20 school year. DRH will provide meal service for all SCA students, as well as internships and culinary experiences for SCA’s high school students.

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System nutrition department will provide meal service at the start of the school year, as SCA prepares for the transition to service provided by DRH. Parents of SCA students will still be required to update their child’s USDA meal forms.

“The 2019-20 school year is going to be significant for SCA as we expand to a K-12 Charter School and offer more innovative opportunities for our students,” said SCA Director Barry Lollis. “We are looking forward to providing our students with superior meal service and culinary experience opportunities with this Daniel Reed Hospitality partnership.”

DRH exists to offer great food and great service in beautiful locations. Opening its first restaurant’s doors in 2007, the employee-based company owns and operates four concepts in Historic Downtown Savannah: Local11ten (including Perch), The Public Kitchen, Soho South, and Artillery.
