Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is proud to announce the addition of new staff member Megan Kerley, who will serve as the nonprofit organization’s director of development.

Kerley began her position with HSF in December 2019. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit arena, working with organizations of every size and mission to maximize their potential. Prior to joining HSF, Kerley served as vice president of Hospice Savannah Foundation, vice president of philanthropy for Senior Citizens Inc., and development director at Savannah Music Festival.

Kerley is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Savannah and holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. She has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles and currently serves on the board of directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Coastal Georgia Chapter. Kerley is a graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature degree from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Arts in English from the College of Charleston and The Citadel.

As Director of Development, Kerley will work in collaboration with HSF’s board of directors to develop and oversee all of HSF’s fundraising initiatives. She’ll serve as a liaison to the organization’s supporters and donors, keeping them informed on how their thoughtful input and generosity helps to keep beloved historic Savannah alive.
