Managed IT services provider Infinity, Inc. recently announced its continued commitment to the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) by participating as a Champion in their annual Data Privacy Day.

Data Privacy Day has been observed on January 28th in the United States since 2008 and is an international effort to empower individuals and encourage businesses to respect privacy, safeguard data and enable trust. The NCSA continues to build momentum and impact with the ultimate goal of providing all Americans and their businesses with the information they need to stay safer and more secure online.

According to the NCSA, “Millions of people are unaware of and uninformed about how their personal information is being used, collected or shared in our digital society. Data Privacy Day aims to inspire dialogue and empower individuals and companies to take action.” The NCSA educates consumers on how they can own their own online presence and shows organizations how privacy is good for business.

“Infinity is proud to support this far-reaching online safety awareness and educational initiative,” says CEO Chuck Brown. “Data privacy is critical on both the individual level and the business level. By participating as a Champion, we further acknowledge our commitment to the community as a leading industry provider in cybersecurity awareness and prevention.”
