Thursday, February 20th, 2020
This year marks The Salvation Army’s 120 years of service to Savannah and the surrounding communities. The Salvation Army’s mission would not be possible if it were not for the Army of volunteers who commit their time and talent to make a real difference in this community and help those most in need in our society. The Army will be hosting their annual volunteer appreciation dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at The Salvation Army Community Center, located at 3000 Bee Rd. The Army’s guest speaker will be Brynn Grant, President and CEO of the United Way of the Coastal Empire.
