Greenbriar Children’s Center recently launched its new user-friendly app, and it is readily available for download by all smart phone users.

The nonprofit organization’s app provides a contemporary experience with easy navigation buttons that allow users to access information about the organization’s mission, a donate button for supporters, a detailed list of services available, and more. Recent videos and pictures will be continuously uploaded so patrons can stay up to date with Greenbriar. The app also provides vital information about "Project Safe Place," with a list of locations that are safe for children who seek help from abuse or neglect. Users can receive notifications directly from the app to ensure they are updated with any news or events within the organization.

The website was created and sponsored by Overcoming By Faith Ministries. Overcoming By Faith provides practical expository preaching, uplifting worship, and countless special events for the entire family to grow spiritually. They are dedicated to going outside of the "four walls" of the church and into the community by providing services wherever needed, and it was important for them to help Greenbriar with this digital need.

“Overcoming by Faith is happy and excited to provide this service to Greenbriar. We are aware of the tireless dedication that Greenbriar has provided to our local community by enriching the lives of children,” said Brian Walker, who is a member of Overcoming By Faith Ministries and handles technology-related work for the church. “We believe the work of Greenbriar is worth supporting, so we will always strive to help them with any needs they may have.”

The Greenbriar app took three months to build, according to Walker, and was designed to give the public and the local community easy access to the organization right in their pocket and to answer questions, provide information, and collect generous gifts and contributions.

“We are very pleased with our fantastic new app,” said Greenbriar Executive Director Gena Taylor. “We are immensely grateful to Overcoming By Faith Ministries for dedicating their time and expertise to ensuring our organization got the highest-quality, secure application. We expect that this will allow our users and supporters to really connect with our organization’s mission and find the information they are looking for more easily.”

To download the app, visit the app store on your smart device or phone and search for ‘Greenbriar Children’s Center’ or visit their website at www.greenbriarchildrenscenter.org and click the Google App Store or Apple App Store icon at the bottom of their homepage to be taken directly to the download page.
