Oliver Maner Partner Larry Evans Elected to Executive Committee of Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia

Oliver Maner LLP, an award-winning law firm providing superior legal services since 1897, is pleased to announce T. Lawrence (Larry) Evans, a partner in the litigation section of the firm, has accepted an invitation to join the executive committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

The Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia provides resources for both commercial and residential practitioners. In addition to providing a range of educational resources and opportunities throughout the year to its membership, the Section leadership works to improve the law by proposing and monitoring legislation of importance to real estate practitioners, creating initiatives to address ethical issues of importance to real estate practitioners and coordinating pro bono opportunities. 

“The Real Property Law Section consistently addresses important issues concerning real property transactions and disputes in Georgia. I look forward to working alongside my peers to strengthen educational resources, practice area standards and legislation relating to real estate law in the State,” said Mr. Evans.

A partner in the litigation section of Oliver Maner, Mr. Evans concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, construction litigation, financial services litigation, and professional liability. He represents a diverse range of local, regional and national corporations, financial institutions and professionals. 

An honors graduate from the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Evans has been named a “Rising Star” in the area of commercial litigation in Georgia by Super Lawyers and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Georgia, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
