'These People are Our Neighbors': Savannah Residents Support Proposed Salvation Army Shelter

Local pastors and area residents held a rally Monday afternoon in support of the proposed Salvation Army shelter in west Savannah. The seven people gathered in the parking lot of the US Foods store on Augusta Avenue are presidents of the local homeowners’ associations and long-time residents.
