Greater Pooler Area Chamber of Commerce Announces their Business of the Year

The Greater Pooler Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau Inc. held the 2021 Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on December 2, 2021, at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force.
Awards were proudly presented to the Pooler Police and Pooler Fire and Rescue as well as awards for Business of the Year and Ambassador of the Year.
The recipients were:
Pooler Police: Pooler Police Officer of the Year – Detective Nick Clay. Supervisor of the Year – Sergeant Dee Morrow - Pooler Fire and Rescue: Office of the Year – Captain Josh Daniels, and Firefighter of the Year – Lieutenant Thad Vroman, Ambassador of the Year, Brandon Fargo.
The 2021 Pooler Business of the Year recipient is St. Joseph’s/Candler, Pooler Campus. Opened in Spring of 2019 offering surgical suites, many Medical Specialty offices, Primary Care, Urgent Care and Imaging to name a few of its services, Pam Southard, Executive Director said “For over 2 years now It has been supporting the wellbeing of the residents of the greater Pooler area as well as our visitors, with First Class medical care in a state-of-the-art facility. It has brought top notch physicians to Pooler, and we all have felt comfortable in its beautiful welcoming surroundings. It has helped to safely guide us through a pandemic to the brighter days we now look ahead to 2022.
