Subaru has partnered with AdoptaClassroom.org to provide flexible funding to teachers in their community.  Locally, Chatham Parkway Subaru has chosen White Bluff Elementary to receive a $3,000 donation to be awarded to six teachers, in support of Social Studies and History curriculum.  The six teachers are Sheisha Ervine, Kindergarten; Jennifer Norrell, 1st grade; Shirley Fischer, 2nd grade; Alea Hicks, 3rd grade; Shemika Harris, 4th grade; and Jennifer Wilson, 5th grade.  The teachers will share equally in the grant which can be used in the AdoptAClassroom marketplace.

At the presentation on August 12, each teacher received a Subaru Loves Learning box, along with a bag of fun and educational surprises.  “We appreciate Subaru's investment in our school," said Dr. Robert Lewis, principal at White Bluff Elementary. “I appreciate all Subaru has done to help our teachers. It takes a village to help our students grow and succeed in life."

With Subaru's support this year, more students will have the resources they need to thrive in their school environment.  Subaru believes in making learning accessible to as many students as possible. Adopting classrooms through Subaru Loves Learning is just one of the many things they are doing to make a difference. Learn more about Subaru Loves Learning here.
