Colleton River Club, the Lowcountry’s premiere waterfront gated golf community, has completed its nationwide search and named Robert A. Sereci CCM, ECM as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Robert will serve as a visible leader for staff and Members; and as a partner to the Board assisting with strategy development, communications, planning, governance, and decision quality.

A recognized industry leader in Club governance, Robert has incredible experience in the industry. He has been General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at the Medinah Country Club, outside Chicago, for eight years. Due to his leadership, Medinah is currently ranked in the top 10 Platinum Clubs of America. Medinah is the location for many major golf tournaments, such as the 2019 BMW Championship and the upcoming 2026 Presidents Cup. Before Medinah, Robert was the General Manager of the American Club in Hong Kong and served in leadership roles at Cherokee Town and Country Club, Jonathan Club, Northwood Club, as well as other organizations.

Robert is known for building winning teams, and his industry reputation helps him attract and retain talent. He is a disciplined executive with strong processes and financial acumen, who also fully understands the criticality of an exceptional Member experience. Robert will be a tremendous asset to the community as Colleton River Club opens its new Amenities and completes the transformation of the Dye Clubhouse into a waterfront dining and social center for its Members.
