Official Guides of Savannah (OGS) will host members of nonprofit organization Visitor International for their annual meeting on October 17- 20. Visitors from all over Europe and North America will attend this prestigious conference as it showcases the hostess city. Visitor International is led by none other than well-known business leader in Savannah, OGS’s CEO DeAnne Mitchell. Mayor Van Johnson will welcome international attendees at a welcome reception in downtown Savannah at Harper Fowlkes House on Tuesday, October 16.

As President of Visitor International and representing Southeast USA, Mitchell will lead this important annual meeting which gives members the opportunity to discuss trends within the visitor information sector. They are guided by a common code of standards and ethics and the goal of the Association is to highlight the importance of providing quality visitor information to visitors and to foster the delivery of professional services to clients with Integrity, Quality, and Results.

Official Guides of Savannah, in conjunction with their partner company, Convention Consultants, has coordinated the accommodations for the group, various tours of the city’s hot spots, and other activities for guests to enjoy during their visit.
