Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office to Open New Satellite Office in Bloomingdale

The Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office recently announced that a new satellite office is set to open on Wednesday, May 1 in Bloomingdale, Ga. for the convenience of local taxpayers who live in west Chatham County.

The new satellite office will be located inside the Bloomingdale City Hall, 8 U.S. Hwy. 80, and will be open by appointment only on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Chatham County residents can schedule an appointment online at tax.chathamcountyga.gov or by calling (912) 652-7100.

“Our new satellite office in Bloomingdale will make conducting property tax payments and mobile vehicle transactions more convenient for residents in west Chatham County,” said Chatham County Tax Commissioner Sonya L. Jackson. “Opening this new office is part our ongoing commitment to bringing our services out into the community to better serve Chatham County taxpayers.”

The Bloomingdale satellite office will join three existing Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Offices: 

Downtown Office

222 W. Oglethorpe Ave., Suite 107

Southside Office:

1145 Eisenhower Dr.

Westside Office:

295 Police Memorial Drive (off Chatham Parkway)

The Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office also operates satellite locations on Wilmington Island at 125 Wilmington Island Rd. and in Port Wentworth at 7224 GA-21. Both offices are open by appointment only. For additional information, please visit tax.chathamcountyga.gov.
