The Coastal Empire has a new way to care for swimming pools and spas while supporting veterans, just in time for the summer season.  Moon River Pool Care has been operating since 2022 and is now expanding its services to the wider Savannah area. Veteran owned and operated Moon River Pool Care is committed to the employment of veterans and supporting the community in which it lives and works.  Most recently MRPC has been volunteering and donating services to revitalize the aquatic program at Jenkins Athletic Club.  This Savannah based 501c3 nonprofit organization was established over 90 years ago with a mission to provide safe and accessible athletic facilities and youth programs for the girls and boys of Savannah. 

Founded by veteran, Ion Bratianu, the company has recently expanded to offer six highly trained Certified Pool Operators (CPO), with over 14 years’ experience and the company is accredited by the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance. Moon River Pool Care offers weekly services to residential, commercial and vacation rental customers.  Services include Cleaning Pools and Spas, Balancing and Correcting Water Chemistry, Equipment Maintenance and Repair and for commercial customers, Health and Safety Inspections.  Weekly services start at $65, with the option for customers to provide their own chemicals.  Unlike many other pool maintenance companies, extensive removal of debris from not only the pool and spa but the surrounding area is included as part of the standard service.
