Savannah CEO (and Low Country CEO) had the privilege of talking with Savannah Market President Patrick O’Neil with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. O’Neil shares a glimpse of this year’s lineup for the upcoming 2016 Global Logistics Trade and Policy Symposium to be held on November 14 at the Coastal Georgia Center located at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. This symposium is being hosted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Georgia Southern University, Savannah Maritime Association and the Propeller Club Port of Savannah.

O’Neil explained, “Savannah and Coastal Georgia are very important markets to Bank of America.  As one of the world’s largest international banks, we are always excited to create opportunities to share industry knowledge regarding trade and logistics. “

The 2016 Global Logistics Trade and Policy Symposium is a complimentary half-day event that includes a powerful group of keynote speakers and an expert panel discussion on future, legal, insurance and monetary risks. Attendees can register online or at the event itself. The symposium starts with a complimentary southern buffet lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Attendees will then hear from the symposium speakers from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on a wide rage of issues including the state of Georgia post election, implications for the port, the global macro environment and FX markets, and considerations for business owners in utilizing the port.
