Visit Savannah Has Strongest Meeting and Convention Sales Year to Date

Visit Savannah’s sales team recorded 219,524 meeting- and convention-related room nights, topping its 2015 totals by almost 20,000 room nights. Projected visitor spending revenues from this new business could exceed $65 million. The bookings are for future years and would be an all-time record production for the organization.

Leadership Georgia Announces 2017 Class & Programs

The Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees recently announced the 2017 Class of Leadership Georgia. Sixty-three participants were selected from a pool of several hundred candidates. With a principal focus on “Georgia A State of Mind,” the 2017 Class of Leadership Georgia will travel to Brasstown Valley, Jesup, Jekyll Island, Perry and Brasselton.
