In Good Company Report Affirms Georgia’s Business Generosity Momentum
Thursday, February 4th, 2021
Through the turmoil of 2020, Georgia business showcased the best in all of us. Companies on the In Good Company list displayed extraordinary grit and determination to meet urgent needs.
This year, the In Good Company report recognizes more than an aspirational pledge these businesses took to join goBeyondProfit. This list commemorates the shifts in business models and functions these companies made while caring for all their stakeholders in crisis. Some Georgia businesses listed in this report shifted production lines to make PPE or hand sanitizer. Many pivoted entire workstreams and technologies to support employees isolated at home. And still others shared deeply from their checkbooks, talent pool and supply chain assets to help neighbors feed their families and fellow businesses stay afloat.
The 2021 In Good Company report has grown to include more than 925 businesses large and small. Companies recognized in these pages demonstrate generous operations, values and intentions in Albany, Tifton, Columbus, Macon, Savannah, Augusta, Athens, Gainesville, Alpharetta, Cartersville, Atlanta and zip codes in between. Each is celebrated here for the ways they go beyond profit to ensure that their people, communities and companies thrive.
More companies join goBeyondProfit every week. The momentum is great and the outcome promising for Georgia. Business holds the trust of employees, customers and broader communities to imagine and implement a positive way forward.
