The Center for Education Integrating Science Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus will be offering in-person student programs this summer for rising 3rd – 12th graders. Programs will be open for students to participate in STEM/STEAM programming from June 6 – July 22 with adherence to all COVID-19 policies and procedures in accordance with safety guidelines from local, state, and federal health officials.

These high-quality and uniquely themed summer programs are designed to enhance and encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. During each week, students will experience different themed programming in areas such as robotics, video game design, coding, logistics and more. Fun and learning go together in as students will find a program that fits their interests.

In-person programs will run from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and parents/guardians will be invited to a student showcase on the final day. Additionally, all programs will include a meaningful take-home component so that participants can continue to expand their STEM/STEAM knowledge after their summer experience with Georgia Tech-Savannah.

We are also offering virtual programs during this time as well. Students can register for those and do programming virtually.

“We are very excited to offer so many opportunities for students to participate in our summer programs on our campus throughout the long summer break from school,” said Timothy Cone, CEISMC Program Director at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus. “Our programs are a great way to keep kids involved in learning during the summer as activities are fun and engaging. Kids will be exposed to STEM/STEAM learning and are sure to find something that piques their interest. We look forward to welcoming students on campus this year and making lasting memories.”
