The Goodwill Southeast Georgia Board of Directors met on May 19^th for their annual meeting. During that meeting, they elected their new slate of officers for a two-year term starting at the end. Board leaders are excited to announce the following new members:   

Ivy Council, Chair. Ms. Council is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Citi Trends.  She has worked with the Savannah-based company since 2007. She is returning after previously serving as Chair of the Goodwill of the Coastal Empire Board and most recently served as Vice Chair. 

Kim Bockius-Suwyn, Vice Chair. Ms. Bockius-Suwyn is the managing partner and co-owner of Enriched Business Strategies. She served four years as the executive director of the Savannah Book Festival and has held several positions with the Historic Savannah Foundation. She is currently also Vice President of the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia.    

The Board also elected the following individuals to their first three-year term as Board members:   

Kendria Lee, Member. Ms. Lee is Deputy Chief of Staff for Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. She is a graduate of Leadership Southeast Georgia and serves on its board of directors. Lee also serves on the board of Synovus in Statesboro and Junior Achievement of Savannah. 

Jason Moschner, Member. Mr. Moschner is VP of Finance and Principal Accounting for Citi Trends, Inc. Mr. Moschner has served in several roles with Citi Trends, Inc. including Interim CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and Director of Finance. 

Patrick O’Neil, Member. Mr. O’Neil is Market President, Senior Vice President for Bank of America. Mr. O’Neil has served as the leader of BOA’s Southeast Executive Council and a Savannah Leadership team member. He has served four years on the Savannah Junior Achievement Board and the Savannah Small Business Association Cap Fund.  

Melanie Marks, Member. Ms. Marks is managing partner and attorney for Bouhan Falligant. She has served as Chair of the affiliated Board, Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire. Ms. Marks is also a former board member of the Savannah Community Foundation, Inc., a graduate of Leadership Savannah, and a member of Savannah Rotary. 

Diana Morrison, Member. Ms. Morrison is Founder and President of Ad Specialty Services.  

She joins the Goodwill of the Coastal Empire board after previously serving on the Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire Board. Ms. Morrison is a former Savannah Chamber of Commerce chair and served with the United Way.
