The goBeyondProfit and Georgia CEO 2023 Business Generosity Report revealed shocking levels of employee and executive burnout. It turns out that burnout is a pervasive and cross-generational problem affecting all levels and all sizes of companies. Additionally, the data explains the critical importance of word choice when checking in on employee mental health and offers low-cost solutions to the burnout dilemma.

Overall burnout: 70% of employed adults in Georgia report some level of burnout in their jobs, with 1-in-5 reporting burnout that affects their work performance.

Executive burnout: 67% of executives in Georgia reported some level of burnout with a surprising 9% sharing that it affects their work performance.

Generational burnout: We found burnout was not isolated to any one generation. Burnout was reported by 78% of Gen X, 67% of Millennials, 75% of Gen X, and 65% of Baby Boomers.
