In the 2023 Business Generosity Report by goBeyondProfit and Georgia CEO, Georgia employees clearly indicated their shifting priorities regarding the most important demonstrations of generosity to the community.

Sustainability efforts took a leap into the top three ways a company should care for the community in this year’s survey. 61% define sustainability efforts as some level of “green” business practices, such as offering environmentally friendly programs at the office (38%) or investments in renewable energy or environmental projects (23%).

Other Opportunities for Employers: 

• Employee Matching Gifts Programs: 77% of employees are looking for these programs from companies, but an alarming 67% of executives say they do not offer it at their companies. 

• Greater Autonomy in Volunteering: 78% of employees prefer PTO to volunteer when and where they want, compared to company-sponsored volunteerism.
