The 200 Club is partnering with Evans General Contractors and the Savannah Convention Center to host the annual Valor Awards with an inaugural Appreciation Gala. The event will honor Valor Award winners and show appreciation to first responders.  In addition, new life saving, and community awards will be presented. This highly anticipated event takes place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 10, at the Savannah Convention Center, located at 1 International Dr, Savannah, GA 31421. 

The 200 Club and its supporters will celebrate excellence within the local first responder community during an evening of dining, multiple award presentations and entertainment performed by Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra during the cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m.  Michael T Owens, CEO/President of the Tourism Leadership Council will be the evening’s Emcee.  Georgia Insurance Commissioner and 200 Club board member General John King will provide the evening’s keynote address.

In addition to the awards ceremony, supporters will have the opportunity to meet the local heroes who put their lives on the line to protect ours.  The 200 Club honors the sacrifice of fallen first responders who have given their lives while protecting others. As a nonprofit organization, they provide immediate and significant financial assistance, fully funded education to the surviving spouse and children, and ongoing commitment and support to the families of first responders who lose their lives in the line of duty while protecting our communities.
