The Savannah Yacht Club hosted the Sunfish SE Regional Championship on April 26^th through April 28^th. The event was open to all boats of the ISCA/Sunfish Class and each competitor was a 2024 member of the US Sunfish Class Association. The races were sailed out of Savannah, GA with the primary course in the Wilmington River / Skidaway River / Intracoastal Waterway in front of the Club. 

Savannah Yacht Club Member Shane McCarthy placed 2^nd in the race, qualifying him for the 2025 International Sunfish Class Association World Championship in Ecuador.
