Union Mission Selected as Southeast Regional Finalist for 2025 True Inspiration Awards

Union Mission is pleased to announce its prestigious selection as a Southeast Regional Finalist in the 2025 True Inspiration Awards. Union Mission was nominated by Marshall Davis, Owner/Operator of the Godley Station and Pooler Chick-fil-A locations. This esteemed recognition celebrates Union Mission’s mission of partnering with people to end their homelessness.

With more than 2,600 applications, 30 organizations were selected to represent 6 regions for a chance to receive a grant award ranging up to $350,000. All individuals are encouraged to support Union Mission by voting on the Chick-fil-A app from September 3 – 30, 2024.

  3. Select “News” where you will find the True Inspiration Awards
  4. Click the “Vote” button
  5. Select the “Southeast Region”

Funds will support the Don & Kaye Kole Magdalene House, an Emergency Housing Program at Union Mission for homeless women and children. Magdalene House supports 20 women and children with 6 emergency housing suites and supportive services to help the fastest growing population of homeless individuals obtain safe and stable housing.

In 2023, Union Mission served 1,250 individuals with 180,800 nights of housing and 260,337 meals. Through the Emergency Housing Programs, Union Mission is able to provide clients with 90 days of housing, individualized case management and access to an array of comprehensive supportive services that work to address clients’ medical, mental health, transportation, childcare, and employment needs in order to help them permanently end their homelessness.

THE TRUE INSPIRATION AWARDS:
The True Inspiration Awards® program was created in 2015 to honor the legacy of Chick-fil-A’s founder, S. Truett Cathy. Through these annual grants, it is our pleasure to celebrate and support nonprofit organizations making an impact in their local communities.
