Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom’s (CB2TB) 5th Annual Gala “United We Stand” and Lip Sync Battle will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16th from 6-10pm at The DeSoto Savannah located at 15 E Liberty Street, Savannah Ga.

The Lip Sync Battle will be a centerpiece of CB2TB’s Annual Gala, an event promising an unforgettable evening with an auction, live music, dinner, and the presentation of the 2024 Resilient Boots Storytelling Award to SSG Jose A. Melendez Torres (Ret.) and the Community Service Hero Award to Brian Duckworth.

This year, CB2TB, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been designated as an United Way Community Investment Program partner for P.R.O.S.P.E.R initiative. This 8-month leadership and development training program empowers veterans in their transition to civilian life, immersing them in eight unique industries through a hands-on, ecosystem-based approach. P.R.O.S.P.E.R. offers veterans a structured path to discovering purpose and building meaningful civilian careers.

At the heart of CB2TB’s “United We Stand” campaign are the top three fundraising candidates for 2024: Matt Campbell, Andrea Cloherty, and Matt Hodges. These individuals have led the charge in raising awareness and essential funds for the P.R.O.S.P.E.R program that supports PTSD awareness, a deeply impactful but often stigmatized mental health issue affecting countless veterans. Alongside Darcel Miller, Preston Laird, Rebecca Stratton, and Michael Carpenter—and with the support of 85 sponsors, donors, and community allies—their collective commitment will be showcased at CB2TB’s Annual Gala during the highly anticipated Lip Sync Battle,” shares CB2TB Co-Founder Lynnetta Smith. “This event serves as a dynamic platform to encourage donations to the “United We Stand” campaign, furthering the mission to break down barriers around PTSD and support those affected
