Historic Savannah Foundation Announces Executive Committee, Welcomes Six New Board of Trustees Members

Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) — the leading nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to saving the buildings, places and stories that define Savannah’s past, present and future — is pleased to announce the Executive Committee for 2025-2026 as well as six new members of the Board of Trustees. The Executive Committee and new board members will lend their expertise to further the organization’s mission throughout its 70th anniversary and beyond.

Historic Savannah Foundation’s 2025-2026 Board of Trustees Executive Committee includes:

  • Chair - Austin Hill, Corcoran Austin Hill Realty

  • Vice Chair - Cody Tharpe, Tharpe Engineering Group

  • Secretary - Gaye Reese, United Community Bank

  • Treasurer - Michael McLeod, The Fiduciary Group

“We’re incredibly grateful that Austin Hill, Cody Tharpe, Gaye Reese and Michael McLeod will all serve another term on the Executive Committee for Historic Savannah Foundation’s Board of Trustees,” said Historic Savannah Foundation CEO and President Sue Adler. “Their commitment to preservation in Savannah and to our organization is truly remarkable.”

In addition, Historic Savannah Foundation’s new board members include:

Jennifer Davenport, Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce — Jennifer Davenport serves as the Vice President of Community Affairs and In-House Counsel for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. Originally from North Carolina, she earned a B.A. in Russian History and Women’s Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. A former Assistant County Attorney for Chatham County, she currently serves as vice chair for the Interagency Council on Homelessness, secretary for the Chatham-Savannah Authority on Homelessness and on the boards of the United Way of the Coastal Empire, Savannah Classical Academy and East Savannah United.

Salita Hill, United Community Bank — A commercial lender with 40 years of experience in the banking industry, Salita Hill currently serves as the Vice President-Commercial Relationship Manager at United Community Bank. She earned a B.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from Georgia Southern University and furthered her education at the University of Georgia’s Banking School as well as Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking. A Leadership Savannah alumna, Hill served as the past chair of the St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital SmartWomen Event Committee, past board chair of Park Place Outreach, Inc. and as a former board member for the Community Housing Development Corporation and Ashtree Organization.

Adam Kirk, HunterMaclean — A longtime partner at HunterMaclean, Adam Kirk practices in the areas of taxation, corporate and real estate law. He is an award-winning attorney who earned a B.B.A. in Accountancy from Georgia State University, magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, cum laude. He currently serves as the president of the Board of Trustees of the Savannah Children’s Choir, Inc., a nonprofit choir serving students at public and private schools across Chatham County.

William Mock, Georgia Power — William Mock is the Region Executive for Georgia Power’s Southeast Region and provides support to area managers, engages in strategic planning, oversees workforce initiatives and maintains key stakeholder relationships. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Leadership Savannah alumnus as well as a member of the Hibernian Society of Savannah. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Savannah Technical College, Union Mission, United Way of the Coastal Empire and on the advisory board of BankSouth.

Pritpal Singh, Left Lane Development — Pritpal Singh serves as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Left Lane Development, a vertically integrated real estate development firm. He opened and managed the award-winning Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Ga. and has led teams at Gaylord Hotels as well as Loews Hotels & Resorts. He previously served as the board chairman for Visit Savannah and currently is the chairman of the Savannah Tourism Leadership Council’s board of directors and on the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was also appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to serve on the board of directors of the Savannah Convention Center Authority.

Robbie Stewart, Choate Construction Company — Robbie Stewart is a Project Executive at Choate Construction Company who launched the Interiors Division at the company’s Savannah office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Georgia Southern University and served on Georgia Southern University’s Civil Engineering and Construction Department Advisory Board, the facilities committee for Southside Baptist Church and the board at Calvary Day School.
