United Way of the Coastal Empire's Sold- Out Women Who Rule Event Features Woman of the Year Stacy Jennings and Inspiring Panelists

United Way of the Coastal Empire is proud to host this year’s Women Who Rule event presented by Critz Auto Group on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Savannah Convention Center from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm with the program beginning at 12:00 pm. Guests at this year’s sold-out event will enjoy a panel discussion with the 2024-2025 Effingham County School District Teacher of the Year Ivory Brown, Executive Director of Loop It Up Savannah, Inc. Molly Lieberman, and Superintendent of Savannah-Chatham County Public School System Dr. Denise Watts, led by Event Chair, Suzanne Kirk, President & HR Consultant, Employee Development Strategies, Inc.

IVORY BROWN - TEACHER OF THE YEAR, EFFINGHAM COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Ivory Brown, 2024-2025 Effingham County School District Teacher of the Year, is a passionate educator with 18 years of experience. At Ebenezer Middle School, she leads the award-winning Best Buddies Program, fostering inclusion and community. Beyond the classroom, Ivory is a dedicated volunteer and leader, having served with United Way Young Leaders and local education initiatives.
MOLLY LIEBERMAN - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LOOP IT UP SAVANNAH, INC.
Molly Lieberman is the Founder and Executive Director of Loop It Up Savannah, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of children through art, literacy, and hands-on learning. Under her leadership, Loop It Up reaches over 12,000 students annually, providing creative programs that build relationships and strengthen communities.
DR. DENISE WATTS - SUPERINTENDENT, SAVANNAH-CHATHAM COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM
Dr. Watts, Superintendent of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools, is a visionary education leader with over 20 years of experience. She has dedicated her career to improving schools, supporting teachers, and creating opportunities for students in underserved communities.
The program will also recognize community leader and longtime United Way supporter and volunteer Stacy Jennings as the 2025 United Way “Woman of the Year.”
Joining Event Chair Suzanne Kirk in the quest to raise as much money as possible for critical transportation needs is a volunteer committee of 30 other women leaders who make up the 2025 Women Who Rule Committee, known as the “Roadies”. Championed by United Way’s WOMEN UNITED®, this popular annual event raises funds for residents across our region who need dependable transportation. Support takes the form of gas cards, bus passes, and minor car repairs.
