The Creative Coast, Savannah's leading nonprofit catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship, announced today that applications are open for SPARK Savannah, an elite new accelerator program designed to promote the diverse development of small businesses and startups. Ambitious founders have until March 24th to apply for this transformative opportunity.

This intensive, in-person, 12-week accelerator begins April 8, 2025, and will be hosted at the Deloitte Foundry, SCAD’s cutting-edge design, research, and innovation studio. Fifteen entrepreneurs with businesses less than three years old will be selected for this no-cost, high-value program that demands rigorous weekly participation with exceptional results.

“SPARK Savannah represents the next evolution in our mission to develop entrepreneurs and innovators who positively impact our regional economy,” says Nick Palumbo, Executive Director of the Creative Coast. “Through our partnership with SCAD, this ambitious accelerator will serve as a catalyst for the entrepreneurial ecosystem during this historic period of economic growth in our region.”

The program builds upon the success of LAUNCH Savannah, a pilot accelerator created in partnership with the City of Savannah in 2024. That inaugural cohort, which showcased a diverse selection of Savannah's innovative talent, culminated with the dynamic LIFTOFF ceremony in October.

“By providing world-class education and resources in this prestigious space, we're creating more than just businesses—we're cultivating the innovators who will address our community's most pressing needs and opportunities,” says Palumbo. “SPARK Savannah embodies our commitment to being the hub that connects, supports, and develops the entrepreneurs who will shape the future of Coastal Georgia.”
