Coastal Care Partners Dr. Pamela Gaudry Raises $165,000 for Coastal Georgia Alzheimer’s Association Dancing with the Stars

Dr. Pamela Gaudry recently participated in the Coastal Georgia Alzheimer’s Association local event “Dancing with the Stars.” With nearly 800 people in attendance, the annual fundraiser was held on May 17th at the Savannah Convention and Trade Center. Dr. Gaudry received this year’s People’s Choice Top Fundraising Award, raising over $165,000 for the organization. The collaborative event raised a total of $468,669 for the Coastal Georgia Alzheimer’s Association.
Regarding her participation in this event, Dr. Gaudry notes, “I was so honored to be asked to participate in this event that will continue to help my patients and their caregivers for years to come. Hopefully, we will find a cure for this devastating disease.”
Dr. Gaudry currently serves as the Primary Care Physician for Coastal Care Partners. An advocate of the medical community, Dr. Gaudry has been a member of the Georgia Medical Society, executive board of the Medical Association of Georgia, and in the inaugural class of the Georgia Physician Leadership Academy. In addition, she has lobbied health issues in Washington, D.C. and at the Georgia State Legislature.

Alzheimer Disease is a degenerating brain disease of uncertain cause that primarily affects older adults and is the most common cause of dementia. According to their website, funds raised through the Alzheimer’s Association are committed to providing care and support, advancing public policy, fund research, and promoting awareness.
