The Junior League of Savannah announced today that it has awarded 10 local teachers with fully funded classroom wishlists as part of its Find the Good Day celebration. Close to 300 wishlists were submitted by educators across the region, reflecting the widespread need for classroom support.

The League is now calling on the community to join its effort by helping fulfill the remaining lists. Donations can be made directly at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/find-the-good-day or by scanning the QR code.

Lists were submitted by teachers in Bulloch, Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, Jasper and Beaufort Counties.

“Our teacher wishlist program showed us just how deep the need is in our schools,” said Mary Beth Kennedy, President of the Junior League of Savannah. “We are doing what the Junior League has done for nearly 100 years, which is to work together to make a difference. We see a need, and then we make it happen. That spirit of service has guided our League for generations as we support the communities we serve in Savannah and the surrounding counties.”
