Savannah & Statesboro Locals Named to Georgia Southern University’s ‘40 Under 40’ Class of 2025

Savannah and Statesboro locals have been named to the Georgia Southern University Alumni Association’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2025. The honor recognizes alumni who have made significant strides in business, leadership, community, educational or philanthropic endeavors.

Savannah area honorees include:

  • Lindsey Brown (’14, ’17) earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing. She is the clinical nurse manager for pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Savannah.

  • Chris Nowicki (’08, ’12) earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master of Education. He is a customer delivery executive with Gulfstream Aerospace.

Statesboro area honorees include:

  • Ryan Gibson (’17, ’20) earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA. He is the chief financial officer for The Sack Company.

  • Caitlyn Cofer (’14) earned a Master of Education in student counseling and personnel services. She is the director of operations in the Office of Career and Professional Development at Georgia Southern.

  • David Cutler (’13) earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management. He is the director of development for Georgia Southern and has raised more than $3 million in major gifts for the University.

  • Kyle Hadden (’11) earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and is owner of Hadden Capital.

  • Winfield Lee (’16) earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation. He is a partner at Lee, Hill and Johnston Insurors, the official insurance agency of Georgia Southern Athletics.

  • Ben Phillips (’13, ’16, ’22) earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a Master of Education and a Doctor of Education. He is senior vice president and director of learning and development at AgSouth Farm Credit.

  • Tim Stillwell (’11) earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a project manager at Garbutt Construction.

The “40 Under 40” honorees were chosen by a selection committee that reviewed each individual’s professional expertise, achievements, dedication to charitable and community initiatives, and commitment to Georgia Southern.
