The Savannah Downtown Business Association (SDBA) invites members and the community to attend the Savannah Steel Basketball Takeover luncheon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, celebrating Savannah’s rising moment in women’s basketball. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders and community members during networking beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at 12:00 p.m. The luncheon will be held at the Charles H. Morris Center, located at 10 East Broad Street.

The special event will feature Coretta Brown, Head Coach of the Savannah Steel, who will share insights on leadership, building a winning culture, and what it means for Savannah to prepare to make history both on and off the court. The luncheon will also include a nonprofit spotlight featuring Dr. Sinisa Ciric, Executive Director of the Savannah Music Festival, who will provide a sneak peek at the upcoming Savannah Music Festival. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Donna Orender, owner of the UpShot League, as well as Savannah Steel operations leaders, offering a unique chance to connect directly with those shaping the future of professional women’s basketball in the region.
