AT&T and Compudopt provided Goodwill Southeast Georgia and Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom 100 refurbished laptops today to distribute to Savannah residents and veterans.
The computers, funded by an AT&T investment, were given to Goodwill Southeast Georgia and Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom to distribute to residents and veterans to support skills training and employment opportunities.
“Creating access to career pathways starts with ensuring people have the tools they need to participate in today’s workforce. These laptops will help individuals and veterans build digital skills, engage in workforce training, and pursue employment opportunities that can strengthen their futures,” said Jason Marshall, President & CEO, Goodwill Southeast Georgia. “We appreciate AT&T’s investment in our community and its support in expanding access to meaningful career opportunities.”
“At Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, we are committed to helping veterans and their families navigate the transition from military service to new opportunities in civilian life,” said Lynnetta Smith, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom. “Access to technology can help open doors to education, entrepreneurship and long-term economic independence.
