InternSAV Celebrates a Standout Summer

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, July 23rd, 2026

InternSAV wrapped up its 2026 season on a high note this week, closing what organizers believe was the program’s most successful year to date.

More than 65 interns representing 20 colleges and universities from across the country gathered at Grayson Stadium for an evening of networking, professional development, and entertainment. The event was hosted by Fan First Entertainment, which provided an engaging and memorable experience for the interns as they celebrated the conclusion of their summer in Savannah.

During the event, interns also received a preview of the Chamber’s new job board partnership with RISE. The platform will be introduced publicly soon and shared with intern contacts collected throughout the InternSAV program’s history, helping participants stay connected to future career opportunities in the Savannah region.

Special thanks go to Conni Reynolds for her leadership and hard work in making this year’s program a success. The Chamber also congratulates summer intern Bailey Kendziorski from Boston College on earning an A+ for her major summer project—and for representing the program during an interview with WSAV.

InternSAV continues to strengthen connections between emerging talent, local employers, and the Savannah business community.
