Shenequa Gresham Named Permanent President and CEO of the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism

The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism (MRCA) is proud to announce that Shenequa Gresham has been appointed permanent President and CEO, following her tenure as interim leader of the organization. The decision reflects the Board of Directors' confidence in Gresham's leadership and her deep, long-standing commitment to the Savannah autism community.
The Board of Directors of the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism is proud to announce the permanent appointment of Shenequa Gresham as the organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
After serving in the role of Interim President and CEO since January 2026, Ms. Gresham has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to the mission of the Center. During her interim tenure, she provided strategic direction, strengthened operations, and continued to advance the Center’s commitment to serving individuals with autism and their families.
Gresham brings a deep personal and professional connection to the organization, having begun her journey with the Center over two decades ago. Her extensive experience in developmental disability services and her unwavering commitment to advocacy and community impact position her to lead the organization with strength and innovation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavior Analysis from Savannah State University and a Master's degree in Education from Argosy University.

"She has led with purpose, compassion, and a clear vision for the future. Under Gresham's leadership, MRCA will continue to strengthen its educational and therapeutic programs, expand community partnerships, and advocate for greater inclusion and opportunities for individuals with autism across the Coastal Georgia region.
Established in 2000, the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism (MRCA) is a nonprofit in Savannah, Georgia, dedicated to helping children with autism succeed in school and life. We offer a year-round, accredited day school for students ages 5–21, with small, supportive classrooms rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Beyond the classroom, we provide free advocacy services and training to ensure families, educators, and communities are empowered to support autistic individuals with understanding and compassion.
