The inaugural Tybee Seafood Fest will take place November 8–15, 2026, bringing a weeklong celebration of fresh seafood, local restaurants, live entertainment, and community to Tybee Island. Designed to bring together local businesses, residents, and visitors, Tybee Seafood Fest will showcase the food, entertainment, and community that make Tybee a unique place to enjoy some of the best seafood in the world. 

The week will feature something for a variety of audiences, with opportunities to dine locally, enjoy live entertainment, participate in family-friendly activities, and experience classic seafood traditions. The event will feature three distinct experiences throughout the week, giving residents and visitors multiple ways to enjoy Tybee’s seafood scene and celebrate the island’s love of great food.

Island-Wide Restaurant Celebration | November 8–15
Participating Tybee Island restaurants and shops will offer exclusive seafood fest-inspired specials, chef creations, and seafood favorites throughout the week. The celebration gives patrons the opportunity to explore local restaurants and enjoy special offerings created for Tybee Seafood Fest.

Oyster Roast & Lowcountry Boil | Friday, November 13 | Hotel Tybee
Festival weekend kicks off on Friday evening with fresh oysters, Lowcountry classics, live entertainment, and more at Hotel Tybee. The event will benefit HUGS (Heads-Up Guidance Services), a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through educational, developmental, and therapeutic programs.

Tybee Seafood Fest | Saturday, November 14 | 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
The weeklong celebration culminates Saturday with the main Tybee Seafood Fest event, bringing together seafood vendors, local businesses, arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities for a full day of food, fun, and community. Attendees can enjoy:

• Live music and entertainment throughout the day

• Fresh seafood from local food vendors
• Arts, crafts, and unique local businesses displaying their work 
• Kids’ Zone with family-friendly activities
• Shrimp Peeling Contest

• A celebration of Tybee’s seafood heritage and island culture

With a full week of seafood specials, a Friday night Oyster Roast & Lowcountry Boil, and a Saturday festival featuring live music, local food, family activities, and seafood competitions, Tybee Seafood Fest will bring a new celebration to the island and give residents and visitors plenty of reasons to come together.
